Over a year ago, I fell in love with moths and started making little moth people. I came up with a story about a few of them that I hope to eventually produce as a graphic novel. Until then, I'm hashing out the style I want to use in between larger projects or while I have free time away from my work desk.
Page 13 is continued from the drawing spree inspired by the enormous response to "Be Kind to Moth" on tumblr. All Pentel pocket brush pen.
Fun fact: each of these guys gets a "name" when I'm processing the pages in Photoshop so I can tell them apart more easily. Some are straightforward, like "shy" or "oak eggar;" others are more... interesting. Recent gems include: "holdupitsphone," "useyourbrain," "oh for fuck's sake," "why i oughta," and "moves like jagger or something."
