hey, I forgot I had this scanned.
Ink... chapter cover my my own character's (SilvaNoir... a coyote/dragon) backstory "Black Trees" (as you can see, from the third chapter), a night where she first meets Del, the fish-man.
(why Black Trees? Noir= "black" in French, Silva= "trees" in Latin.)
added some blue-green tint on the computer... the original art is black and grey.

"Black Trees."
Hm. So that's what it meant. Indeed one does learn something new everyday. How about that.
Now, honestly speaking here, this looks like is has more of the "Marvel Comics" universe type inking technique to it. Where everything looks darker and gritty.
I say the background adds to this as well. Just a thick ink panel with a moon in it to illustrate a night seen. Which adds a huge contrast as the majority of the background is white. Oh, and the fish man here? Just by the way you colored [inked] him in here, it's obviously he's the antagonist of this. That evil grin showing that much. Plus MANY kudos for him being a fish man. It's an insane rarity to see people drawing aquatic characters.
Definitely a good job here. DEFINITELY. x)
