My definition of "quick sketch" is something that I don't spend a lot of time or brainpower on. I'll work on it off and on all day, so who knows how much time I've actually put into it.

nice sketch. looks a bit wolfish to me for an imp, but then again this depends on one's sources I guess. mine is the monter manual of D&D. :)
nothing much to adjust here, maybe except that the tail root sits a bit too low for my tastes.

Well, he's not exactly an imp, but more of a... wolfish..impish...demon-thing. (I think his owner's just obsessed with wolves. )

The tail root... yeah, it could come out a bit more instead of being wedged so deeply in his crack (xD), but if we're just thinking of a tail as an extension of one's tailbone, then I think I have it positioned pretty correctly. Then again I could totally be wrong and have my anatomy all screwy. xP

as an extension of the spine, it would be placed right. but thing is, that way it would rub flesh against flesh with every movement of the legs and tail, and it might get in the way of getting rid of bodily wastes. so essentially I would place it there, but have it protruding outward a bit more, so the tail would lay above the butt cheek musculature.

as long as you don't place the tail root onto the butt cheek instead everything is allright. :)
