Great work. :) Surprisingly a lot of color for space. Is he reentering the atmosphere a little prematurely, or did the ship just burst into flames? Also, my imagination sees a t-rex sneaking up on him in the background. :O Space dinosaurs are the worst...
this is really cool ! I really like the color palette here! it make me think o 2001: A space oddisey for some reason, but maybe not ? still something from the seventies.. what was your visual reference/inspiration ?
Also, that blue smoke thing in the g.. I kind of see a dragon shape. a cartoony dragon with stubby hands.
