The water's great :3
Rashiki's teasing poor
theothefox, but I completely empathize with his weakness. Therefore:
Dear orcas
Why are your moufs so hot?
Much love, Foshu
Look at the sequel right here, since so many of you requested it ^u^ -> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11392250/

Awww thanks =D
To be quite honest, I find your work to be absolutely beautiful. You have quite the eye for detail, and your vore stuff definitely appeals to me in all the best ways! Have you ever considered the idea of doing collab work? I've been thinking about collaborative commissions (one sketches/inks and another colors) and I think the two of us would make a pretty good vore pair XD I'd love to know if you would be interested in such a venture =3

I've honestly never been very confident in doing trades, commissions or collabs. My motivation for art comes and goes, I can't put out work reliably and even when I do art, I'm so slow... I don't think it's responsible to charge people money for something I'm not sure I can deliver...
I totally understand, thanks for the quick reply! And yeah, doing commission work is very different from just drawing for personal pleasure. When money is exchanged, it basically becomes more like a job than anything else and the responsibility to get work done timely and consistently can be very daunting sometimes. Especially if the subject matter is not something you particularly find appealing.
Even if it's something i enjoy, I don't like to draw the same thing over and over. I dunno, I think mostly I'm just eaten up by doubt over these kind of things.
But it really means a lot to me you'd consider me a worthy collaboration partner <3 Maybe some time in the future I'll find a place and my special someone to live with, to be happy again so I can find my passion for art once more.

I get that question a lot actually, so I tried to describe it ina journal you can find here http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3757842/
-whimpers- Why?! Why does the Orca mouf override my fight or flight instincts and make me wanna crawl inside!? WHY!!!
Seriously good depiction though, great job! It's pics like this that make me wonder if our little foxie is the wiser for so frequently playing the prey, instead of pred...

Great work on this piece, as always with your mawshots! I think what I really like about this is the expression the orca makes with his eye, gives a nice layer of emotion and temptation that the title implies. I always like the idea of preds trying to indulge their preys desires, at least in this case a quite strange yet convienient desire XD. Keep up the great work!
very nice mawshot.
On a side note those mawshots are always very well lit *chuckles* normal light sources do not go that deep down into that throat letting you see all those fancy details. Not that I complain but always I see a mawshot like that I imagine a whole camera crew standing behind the scene with about two dozen spotlights lighting out the scene so well *laughs*

I have to admit that this is one of the best natural mawshots I've ever seen.
You are right that it is not impossible to get a perfect mawshot with the right lighting and sharpness color-depth and everything, but you need to be extra lucky.
I don't want to argue though as this comment was rather meant as a joke :)

I have a few girlies that would not be able to resist such a invitation. He can expect some company later tonight at the edge of the pool after the park closes. She will bring a bucket of fish and herself of course, no fun to rush things :P
In all seriousness though, wonderful picture Foshu. Between this and his ref, Rashiki is one of the coolest water dragon like characters I have seen.

I think it's because cetaceans are the biggest predators in the mammal family, and orcas strike the perfect balance between the enormity of, say, a sperm whale and the sleekness of a dolphin. Plus they often hunt smaller mammals, and swallow them whole, and probably on occasion the prey is still alive when this happens. Just think, at this very moment somewhere in the r/l ocean an otter or penguin could be squished up against one of those mottled palates, seeing their last glimpse of daylight between conical teeth before experiencing the plunge into a multi-chambered stomach... <3 Nature. <3
Of course, being anthro-y and dragon-y, Rashiki has an even hotter mouf than a regular orca's. :3

Really? Swallow them alive? I've never heard of anything like that (penguins aren't mammals either of course). The birds and seals I've seen get grabbed by orcas are thoroughly introduced to those teeth, thrashed and crushed before eaten.
Also, Rashiki isn't very anthro at all, I think his mouf is pretty close to an actual orca mouf, just bigger.

Well no, I'm sure it doesn't happen often, that would be unwise behavior for the orca. I'm just saying it's possible that prey could be less than 100% dead when they go down. I figure it happens sometimes, if only rarely and accidentally. But I guess I'm a littttle biased in imaging this though, huh? xD
By 'anthro' I just meant he's intelligent and has expressions, and can tease people, that sort of thing.

It's possible... But I highly doubt it if I think about it realistically. Of course, that's the all important responsibility of us artists to put you a little closer to those what ifs <3
Again, actual orcas are extremely intelligent. if they understood us a little better than they do through means of communication, they may as well be capable of teasing. I guess that doesn't really matter in the end, all speculation.

I.. good lord this is awesome. Would so wanna sneak up on that fox and whisper things in his ear about that orca catching him, tease the li'l guy until he can barely stand straight. XD
Is there any chance of a part 2 to this? I mean.. seriously I wanna see the orca get what he wants here!

I'm just in love with this, I've always had a soft spot for orcas, i think this has finally tipped the scales and made me decide on making an alternate form, well being goo these things happen. :V Though seriously, I'm just lost for words.
