A panel from a pilot storyboard for the Saban show "Monster Farm", drawn in 1996. The horse was part of a gag sequence I created about a farm where everything... Livestock, produce, and the apple pies the farmer's wife makes... were blue ribbon champions. Everything was perfect... Too perfect to be interesting, which was why the story ended up taking place at skuzzy old imperfect Monster Farm next door. A lot of women working at Saban were really taken with this horse, and asked for blow-up copies of this particular panel (which, by the way, was colored by background artist Kelly Atkins). What would Freud make of that, I wonder?...
