Do you like using chalk? It seems to be rather an unusual medium to color with :o It looks like it covers the paper better than color pencils, though!

I think the reason I like Chalk so much is because its so similar to charcoal. you can even draw over charcoals with chalk and vice-versa! I have no idea why I keep drawing tiny pictures with the stuff though, most people are smart enough to use this stuff on paper bigger than 6x4 inches.
I wonder where I can find some over-sized textured paper though

I may start using color pencils more though, I just got a color blending pencil, and now I can blend the pencils just as well as the chalks!

I don't know if it counts as textured paper, but I have done a couple of oil pastel pics on brown paper sacks. It'd probably work for chalk too!
