Good gods, it's the lion from Bedknobs and Broomsticks, isn't it? He's wearing the Star of Astoroth.

Huh, I guess that character might have inspired that person's suit design. *shrugs*

It's from a fan-fiction type of extension of the story: Even though Mr. Browne tried to steal it and bring it back from Nabumbu, the magic surrounding the star returned it to its rightful owner during the execution of the traveling spell. Elliott became a successor for Leonidas, and due to Leonidas's recent passing, the star was given to Elliott when he became King of the Island of Nabumbu.


In reality, I dressed Elliott as King Leonidas for Furloween 2006 and made the crown and star props in the 3D printer where I worked. Since Elliott is the mascot for the party events, we wanted to give him a back story. The Bedknobs and Broomsticks story extension was created to explain the character origin of Elliott, 'cause we thought it was a cute story and explained how Elliott obtained the star.
