Kiba Okamimaru had the ability to turn into an anthropomorphic wolf just like Kano did.

Except, when Kano died at the hands of Kiba's father while trying to protect him, Kiba was devastated, and inherited Kano's abilities with his blade, enabling Okamimaru to change into his Wolf Form at will as he self taught himself "Kano's Style" with the 2 tulwars and ribbon garments that Kano used when he was still Kiba's Lieutenant.

After mastering Kano's movements, he built a small shrine to honor the fallen in Squad 14's Headquarters. Since Kano's head had been devoured by Okottieru Okamimaru, he was cremated and now sits in a Urn within the burial chambers of the 14th Squadron with his Tulwar bladed weapons and ribbons placed at the sides of his urn to honor him.
