Sorry about there being no update last week! Bowser Day, Shark Week and commission work took up a lot of my spare time, so I was only able to start work on this page a few days ago. It's still a day later than I would have liked it to be uploaded, but this page has taken a lot longer than any of the previous ones. It took me a lot longer to finish this page than most, mostly due to me not blocking out space for dialogue before I finish the art, which caused a lot of problems this time around. I might have to rethink my workflow on this. Still, this has been a good learning process!

Since we're at this stage in the story, I wanted to mention that you may or may not have noticed that the color palette of the apartment and the Asher and Colby's clothes has been pretty muted. I used a lot of grays and earthy tones, because of the current emotional state between the two characters that I wanted to reflect in the setting. I'm not sure how well that came across, though, since I'm no color theorist, lol. Hopefully in the flashback panels, things seem a lot more colorful, literal and otherwise.
