Something I did for my materials final!
I made a clay sculpture of a lion, made a rubber mold of that, then took out the clay and poured fast-cast plastic into the mold to make a plastic lion. Then, I sealed the plastic with a primer and painted over it with acrylic paint to make a little Orco :)
I also laser cut an Orco badge, which you can see behind the sculpture, which is clear acrylic plastic engraved/cut out with the laser cutter. I could totally do badges like that for commissions in the future, but they'd be $50-ish since laser cutting is a fairly expensive way of doing things.
Together both things took over 10 hours to complete, a pretty new and strange process for both! I'm happy with the outcome and think my professor was as well :)
