A cute little fennec foxgal (i think) walking about the San Japan anime convention this weekend. She was one of a few fursuiters I saw wandering about and it was no big deal.
I bring this up cause I was promised Doom, some 50's era style persecusion. Back in the 90's when there was the CSI and ER (and others) episodes 'outting' furry fans it was predicted there would be a huge public backlash to the freak show. I know a few folks who wanted to be on the 'right side' of this coming event and were prepared to name names at the senate hearings. I guess to be fair I did have some odd encounters with the public as recent as 2007but those were just isolated goofiness.
