I'm not entirely sure if I could consider this to be a tutorial in badge creation, but more of a "How I Do" sort of thing.
There is no right or wrong way to do it! This is just with items I've come across and purchased for my art business and it does the trick nicely!
I hope if you had questions on what I do, that this helps a bit more! ;^;

BTW love your moon ring! Its very pretty. :D

My personal one is from Staples. If you are in the market for one, I highly recommend staying away from the budget ones if you plan on using high micron laminating sheets. The higher the microns, the more strength you have. Texet for example couldn't heat hot enough and destroyed ever badge before I returned it. :(
Thanks a bunch for this great tutorial. It's kinda of funny, there's tons of tutorials on how to draw a badge, but pretty much none on actually making them. I'm having a hard time finding a vertical slot punch, so I fear round holes will have to do for now. Can you tell me how big the holes are yours produces? Again, very handy tutorial, thanks! :)
Heya! The vert hole punch I purchased was this one:http://www.overstock.com/de/Crafts-.....6/product.htmlThough I needed it right away and it ended up costing out the nose to import it from the US. @_@
Round holes are perfectly find and find that they're a bit more practical since making this tutorial. Badges tend to slide from side to side so I started using a normal punch and place a split ring through it so that you never fear of losing it! =)
The size is about 9mm though! =)

Hehe, I can imagine, shipping costs from the US can be ridiculous.
Yeah, makes sense! I first planned on doing something like thishttp://kiriska.com/wp/wp-content/up.....est2013_72.jpg(just with a ring or something instead of the clip), so the badge wouldn't swing around, but I honestly I have no idea where to find those plastic things going through the slot. But you're right, a round slot with a ring should work fine, too. And the items are way easier to find :D
Thanks a bunch for the detailed answer, I appreciate it!
