Abyssus Canis is a creature of my own design. It's entire purpose is to lure away dead children's spirits to hell. Whereas the blue/black 'Guide' leads children to heaven, taking away their pain and suffering and taking it onto itself, this creature inhabits the body of a deceased wolf by means of tricking lost children's souls to follow behind it instead. The creature itself is a mass of tapeworm-like creatures. The creature can slip from it's carcass, jam its tentacles into a creatures, and leave behind the worms within it's body. They can cause insomnia, nausea, foaming of the mouth, vomiting blood, and finally agonizing death. These things are best to be avoided.
