Don't worry your pretty little heads, I'm not gonna go through with the whole backstory thing this was supposed to illustrate. I just already had this halfway done before I found out everyone disliked/hated the idea, and I am in no mood to try and come up with something else to draw. It's sad, too, because I like how this came out, and I liked all the stuff I came up with... but since I was apparently the only one who even remotely liked any of it, I guess this is good news for all of you.
Even better news: This will probably be the last time you see me draw any ponies (at least for quite some time) because I've been disheartened from it so much now! Yaaayyyy! 8D
Also, I deleted this week's poll because I got nothing but negative answers and it was pretty easy to tell it was going to continue that way. There's no point in doing a poll I already know the results of, and I really didn't want to read through a bunch more biased/baseless/hypocritical/etc. reasons/opinions why ponifying my OCs and making that its own sort of AU thing was a terrible idea.

I liked the idea D: I though the backstory was awesome. Sucks u deleted it, but if its what had to be done....im sorry people killed your mojo with ponies, I love how u draw them, and I loved how u portrayed them in the MLP universe. I found their cutie marks very interesting as well.

Because when you try really hard on something and then get that much hate for it, it's just really upsetting. I will not be happy to put effort into something knowing that half my watchers or more are just gonna dislike it. Everyone else hating on it has made me dislike it myself.
Screw haters. I deal with them all the time to the point I learn to ignore them or playfully agree with them, I never let them win. I get too much hate on my music and sometimes art too, but ehh I try to ignore it and it helps. Just do what YOU want to, Vi. That is stupid all those people made you dislike something that you originally enjoyed. And shame on them too, honestly.
I don't usually have a hard time ignoring haters (unless I already happen to be in the worst of moods in which case do not get in my way), but when friends and normally really supportive watchers of mine join in on disliking something I tried to do, that's when it gets to me. Bear in mind I also had no positive feedback whatsoever at the time. No one said they were even okay with the idea until after I said I wasn't going to go through with it, so I was fairly convinced everyone just hated it. Maybe if enough people had spoken up supportively then it would have been different, but even as it is, more people dislike it then not, and I'm pretty discouraged for the time being. Doesn't help my stress level is already kinda high lately and it doesn't take much to upset me anymore... I'm seriously considering going on a hiatus for a while when school starts up.
Ahhh... I understand, I'm sorry it's been so hectic for you. And for the record, I missed the journal so I wsa unable to speak up unfortunatly. *hugs* Sorry if I added to the stress though, I get upset when I set my friends upset (redundant I know). If you need to take a break that's fine, Just don't stay away for too long as we'll miss you! ;w; Just try to take it easy, Vi.
I still have all the info and story stuff I typed up in a file; I could send it to you over Skype or something if you're interested.
I promise you, you're not contributing to the stress at all. If anything the support helps. I'm still not entirely sure about the hiatus, but at this point it's likely. It probably wouldn't be any longer than maybe a week, two weeks at the absolute maximum. By that point I'd probably have a lot of stuff to upload and I try not to flood my watchers too much. I' sure I'd have plenty of stuff in all my inboxes by then, too. I wouldn't even be COMPLETELY avoiding the Internet altogether; I just wouldn't upload anything or check my inboxes for a while other than Skype. I might still get on Tumblr to reblog stuff some of the time, too. I don't know exactly how it would work out, I just know I'd be avoiding comments and PMs and such for a bit.
