you know, this comic made me think about the males. They're like, almost feral looking right? Giant dragons and huge tigers, I think the tigers can't even enunciate regular speech...why the hell aren't they in combat roles? The relatively tiny humanoid females go into dangerous enemy territory without escorts and get into skirmishes with casualties all the time. I would think if either side had a big scary male companion they would be more willing to exercise the better part of valor and simply avoid each other.
