What is it in this world that you fear?
Is it humans?
Is it Digimon?
Or is it Arlin? Your master, your friend, your brother...the very thing your life was made from?
Kitsune woke with a start, gasping quietly and he looked around hurriedly. Releasing the breath he held in he shook his head silently. The same dream had been frequent, visiting him when he thought he was at peace.
The very bowels of Kitsune's soul were lit ablaze despite his cold tendency, all because of a simple dream. He scoffed and shook his head standing up quietly. The eeriness of the cave he sat in held nothing for him, no fear, no sadness, nothing.
Then again to him, places were simply that. Places, something that just happened to exist there. He walked out of the cave slowly looking out across the vast fields and tundra before him.
It had been roughly a year since he had last seen his brother, Arlin. Their last meeting, as all of their others were always pleasant, yet always left Kitsune unfocused. Whenever he and Arlin spoke, they were carefree, something Kitsune never was or tried to be.
Walking across the planes proved to be a very good idea indeed, Kitsune's head was slowly relaxing, his mind returning to its usual ease. Though his thoughts still turned to its former demeanor as he thought longer on it. Erasing the thought from his mind, he turned as he noticed a figure coming towards him roughly a football field's length away. The figure was a striking yellow in color, its speed astounding yet not impressing the cold warrior as he stood his ground folding his arms.
Once the figure was close enough, they threw a heavy punch towards Kitsune, but he turned his body elegantly, slamming his feet into the ground behind him, forcing a collumn of ice to shoot upwards under his foe. Sending them flying into the air. Once they were coming down, Kitsune stood directly under them and held out his palm forward, smashing it into their spine as they came down.
The blow was major on the enemy as Kitsune simply threw them down and glared down at it. The figure's yellow cloak hiding any shred of identity. Which Kitsune planned to fix of course. He tore the cloak off revealing a beautifal Renamon figure. Bare to him now was an orange Renamon with runic markings upon her body, moving down her hind legs, accenting her hips and making them stick out very well.
Kitsune's beat red eyes bore down on the creature below him, wondering just what it wanted with him, his arms folded and his patience tested. "Who are you...what do you want with me?" The female stared up as he spoke in his deep chilling voice, the fear evident in her eyes.
"Y-Your...Kitsune...the bastard that assaulted the village yes?" She winced out the words, obviously she was in great pain. Physically and mentally. Kitsune thought back on it, he had attacked no villages, actually preferring to stay away from them due to...humans. He let a low growl escape his throat at the thought of humans but he shook his head returning his attention to the unknown female.
"I've attacked no villages. I have no need to stain my hands with the blood of humans." He spat the word out with venom in his voice. The figure trembled and looked up at him, her yellow eyes brimming with pain yet curiosity. Kitsune thought with amusement if he should let the poor soul live just so they could either live out their life in misery or....he let the next thought from his mind fade away.
"Then...then what are you doing....?" Once again the curiosity was all too evident as was the innocence. Kitsune shrugs, becoming annoyed from the constant questioning began to walk away. "W-Wait don't leave me here please!" The female's shriek stopped Kitsune in his tracks and he turned his attention back to her, clear annoyance on his face.
"And why shouldn't I? You tried attacking me and concluded that I attacked a nearby village only to find out you were an imbecile. What more could you want from me?" The female stayed silent when he spoke and the smirk never left his lips. She was like a child, innocent and stupid. Not a good combo.
Luckily for the girl however, Kitsune felt gracious for now. So he picked her up, hoisting her over his shoulders. Now continuing on his walk, ignoring the woman's ranting on to not carry her like an animal. Though obviously she was well ignored.
Was it cruel fate? Or did someone out there have it out for Kitsune? he figured he'd never know, nor should he want to.
Figured i'd finally write a story based on Kitsune my fursona XD
So here's my best shot at the beginning.

::Mirage stood on a snow capped mountain not far from where the small show took place. His eyes were covered by snow blinders and his body was covered by layers of winter clothing. This was definately interesting. He would be sure to investigate more in due time. He reaced down and plucked an ice crystal from the mountain. He examined it then crushed it in his hand shaking his head. Apparently the Gem Generals wanted nothing to do with the cold climate. He opened his red wings and vanished in a wing flap as a piece of cloth fluttered down onto the snow leaving his Shagonic scent behind. Unbenounst to his knowledge that is.::
in retrospect.. i'm following you i got trapped in the digi area following a problem in my world. so what the deal is..your character is potentially being tested for a spot in a REAL book! one that may actually get published someday. WHY? well i actually like the character you made and fell hed ovr heels for it long ago. (excuse the typos the keyboard is only so so. that and i was admitted to the hospital so... yeah...) anyway.. i figured let Mirage... my main character for my progressivly growing book series.... try out a tim n your wold. experince things in a differnt ligt. possibly see if he cn't figure out why the sun sometimes rises in the west. you get the point right?
