This is our typical fun filled day at the Zoo! I sit and doodle up the animals and Clyde takes awesome photos of them! Our favourite seems to be the Giraffe and Zebra exhibit. They have Masai and Reticulated Giraffe and Hartmann's Mountain Zebra in this exhibit, they also have near threatened White Rhino and endangered Grevy's Zebra in an exhibit as well as an Okapi family exhibit too we love to favour (I think I will draw these too) :) don't mind the bad background and bench I will add more to the next ones and possibly work on this one too. :) I just love going to the Zoo with Clyde and can't wait to go again!

Lol yea and that is what I wanted to doodle since we really spent most of our time there last time. Even though it rained it was a perfect day! I want to doodle the other spots that we favour next! An once the baby is out in the Elephant Yard I will have to draw both of them! :D
We love animals (especially the ungulates we spend most of our time with them the Rhinos, Giraffe, Okapi, Nyala, Eland, Pygmy Hippos, Zebra and the closely related Paenugulata the Elephant which now has two babies in the yard.) :) and we love spending time and enjoying each others company there too. Plus we have annual passes so we go anytime we want. :) Hehe yes I do I bring a messenger bag with deer all over it and bring art supplies. Usually I will just bring the smaller 9x12 drawing pad but I have brought the larger pads before and painted :). It was fun and is great to capture little sketches. Clyde will take photos and I will use them as references too. :)
