Lots of story to this rather hastily done picture. My hand hurts from drawing other stuff, so I had to settle. Anyway, it's just an establishing shot to go with the establishing of the story.

Part 2:
The forest is so dark. If not for the light of the scooter, she wouldn't see a thing. As the bunny rides along, a metal gate suddenly becomes visible on the right hand side of the road. She stops by the gate and reads the number that this estate belongs to. 14. She reaches into her breast pocket under her jacket and retrieves the sodden note detailing the customer's order.
Order: Large Tropical Fun Pizza
Deliver to: 11 Birchwood Road.
Name: Meso Hung Lee
She reads the note with dismay. 11, it says. She should have gone past it already.
“Wait...”, she says to herself and reads the customer's name again, then once more, aloud. With a frustrated and angry yell, she crumples up the note and tosses it.
“Ha-bloody-ha! Thanks to some bored tweenager, I'm here in the rain catching a flu with nothing to show for it-!”
The wind picks up more and the trees surrounding her creak ominously. Looks like that storm they talked about is going to hit after all. Her teeth clatter as she looks back at where she came from. The rain drenched, uninviting dark gives her the creeps. She swallows her pride and reaches for her phone again. She can call Stu. He has a big truck that can accommodate the scooter as well.
“Time to call for back-up...”
The phone won't turn on. Rain has gotten to it and it's utterly useless. She gives another yell. This one more sad and beaten down. Through the rain and far in the distance she can see lights. Several lights, from many windows. The mansion behind the gate is huge! Her eyes search around and quickly spot an intercom inside a sheltered part of the wall that the gate is set in. With hope rekindled, she buzzes the intercom. She waits a while. Then she buzzes again. And again! There's finally a sound from the speaker.
-"Something important must be going on" says a voice matter-of-factly. The bunny hugs around her waist anxiously and responds loudly into the microphone to drown the noise of the wind howling around her.
-"H-hi, hello? My name is Alice - I um, I was wondering if I could borrow your phone? See, mine died and I don't want to travel home on a scooter in this storm".
The voice on the intercom sighs.
-"I wouldn't have it any other way. Come." says the voice in as polite a tone as the owner of the voice could muster. There's a click, and then the gate swings gently and smoothly open. Alice gets on her scooter and drives through the gate and onto the estate. After several hundred feet she reaches the mansion. Warm lights beckon her up the entrance stairs. She sighs loudly with relief as she pads in under the veranda of the second story, finally escaping the rain. The main entrance is large and impressive. Soaked through, she walks the final few steps to the door and knocks. The door opens and there stands a tall and rather handsome wolf in suit pants, a white shirt, and a tie that's been loosened. The wolf looks her over. She pulls her ears back and half-smiles in a harmless and embarrassed way for looking like a drowned rat. The wolf in turn adjusts his tie.
-"My name is Kane. Pleased to meet you, Alice." He extends a paw. She responds in turn and there is a wet squish from her soaked paw as he squeezes it. He raises one eyebrow and takes his paw back.
-"Do come in." The wolf says and ushers her inside. He continues, walking in front of Alice.
-"I'll show you where the bathroom is so you can towel off. You may borrow some of my clothes, if that is preferable. I'll be in the study while you get yourself sorted out."
Alice scoots along after the wolf, nodding and thanking for a change of clothes. Before too long, she has showered and put on some of Kane's clothes. She thinks to herself that at least the day didn't END so terribly.
The fun starts in the next part!
