I'm finally getting around to uploading some of my larger traditional pieces. This one is about 12x12". It might eventually be for sale on my etsy, but for now I like it enough to hang in my room.

I often like to paint birds that I get a glimpse of, too quickly to take a photo. I saw this red tail hawk flying over the freeway one day while I was riding the bus home from school. I loved the way the sunlight made his tail feathers glow red.
The osprey is based off an osprey that flew overhead during my friend's wedding ceremony.

These are two very special species of birds to me, they have a sense of power about them.
