A pair of icons (joined here into one image) by my friend  darkemberkitty. VERY inexpensive and very worth it. She was offering icons of kimono-clad characters sitting on cushions and enjoying hot tea or soup, so I asked for Clopan and Summer (my main fursona, an echidna) having soup.

I even made up an unnecessary, far-fetched little story to explain the scene: Summer, a traveller whose naivete gets her into trouble on her journeys, was robbed, leaving her penniless and stranded in a remote part of Eastern Europe. To earn money and pass the time while waiting in vain for the whole mess to be sorted out, she took on a sort of roadie/gopher position for a troupe of travelling entertainers. She became infatuated with the lead puppeteer and master of ceremonies, but was too shy to approach him. After some goading from the other assistants, she sat down to lunch with him and they swapped stories about their respective travels.
