A mythical silent sentry guards the entrance to The Lost Continent themed section in the Islands of Adventure amusement park. Does anyone know what you call this creature? It's not a griffin since even though the front part of the body looks like one, from the waist down it has the body of a serpent (and no hind legs). Not sure what you would call it, but it's pretty cool looking nonetheless. It's pretty big too. The crest on its head is about 8 feet high. Impressive looking.
