Ute was a major character even though there was nothing special about her. She had magical abilities but they werent her own so she would have to drain spiritual energy from her environment. Usually something simple like a tree, large field or small animals would suffer. Like most batteries she would need to discharge this life energy and the polar opposite would have to be a graveyard.

Late in the game she lost the ability to control this power and for a short time became an NPC
