((For my Concord Grape Martini, Click here.))
(A camping inspired Mudslide that is so dangerously drinkable, you won't even taste the alcohol, but you will definitely feel it. *evil Tiger grin* >:3 Also might give you Diabetes. :P )
**Easy Difficulty**
Serves 1 or 2
2 Big Scoops of French Vanilla Ice Cream (about 12 oz / about 360 grams total give or take)
3 oz / 90 ml - Marshmallow Vodka (You can make your own. See notes below)
2 oz / 60 ml - Coffee Liqueur (Kahlua is the best!)
2 oz / 60 ml - Irish Cream Liqueur (Bailey’s is the best too!)
3 regular sized Marshmallows
Two full standard sheets of Graham Crackers (enough to make 2 S’mores)
1 regular Chocolate Candy Bar (regular size Hershey’s Bar)
Whip cream and Chocolate syrup for garnish
1.) Toast all three Marshmallows to your liking. Reserve two for garnish and one to make a S’more. Sandwich the hot Marshmallow in between two graham crackers and a piece of chocolate. Set aside.
2.) In a Blender, blend Ice cream, A graham cracker, and alcohol together. You might need to add a few Tbsp of milk to help the blender along a bit. When blended into a thick shake like consistency, pour into a glass you’ve drizzled some chocolate in. Add the Marshmellows on a stick, the S’more, Whip Cream, and an extra drizzle of Chocolate Syrup, then Enjoy!
Extra Info: Camping is fun. My boyfriend and I enjoy having a camp fire outside in the backyard every once in a while to make s’mores or to roast hotdogs, or Vietnamese meatballs over the fire. It’s always fun and romantic especially with a bottle of wine and staring up into the stars. Some music and some blankets. Talking, and enjoying some time away from our busy hectic loud lives. Fun night. Plus, it’s a cost-effective date. Try it with your loved ones!
Back to the drink. XD;; A pretty easy recipe. Easily made non-alcoholic for the kids too. S’mores milkshakes! Substitute the Coffee liqueur with a ½ tsp / 2.5 grams of instant coffee with a Tbsp / 15 ml warm water. Substitute the Marshmallow Vodka with extra marshmallows on the drink. Add Irish Cream Flavored coffee creamer instead of Irish Cream Liqueur. Or just make your favorite milkshake and add marshmallows!
Marshmallow Vodka is super easy to make, and it’s delicious. Take a small jar (or a Big Jar. I don’t judge. :3 ) and fill it up half way with Marshmallows you’ve cut into small pieces. Big pieces take longer to dissolve. You can try it with mini marshmallows too. Fill up the jar with Vodka. Any brand really that you prefer. I use Grey Goose or Ketel One for most of my drinks because they're so wonderfully mixable. Close the jar up with the lid and let the marshmallows dissolve in the refrigerator for two days. Most of the Marshmallows will dissolve, but you might get some fluffy bits or chunks. You can technically eat the slimy marshmallow chunks, but be careful. They’ve taken on a lot of Alcohol so they can pack a kick. Strain the Vodka through a Cheese Cloth, and then return back into the jar or transfer the Marshmallow Vodka into a new bottle. Lasts up to a week and a half in the Fridge. And tada. You’ve made a simple Marshmallow Vodka! Happy Eating!
