The small glimps behind Lucid's Dream Comic
My work space, covered with my WIP comic. Already on page 110 ( inking almost complete ), still on chapter 3. Some pages are quicker when it comes to a black background. My work space is not the traditional to a comic artist's work area, but I work with what I have.
Simple HB pencil and sharpies, ranging from .5 to fat tip. Sadly no microns or ink pens were used during the making of this comic. Does that mean that this is not a real comic if it is not made with the proper materials?
Working very hard on this project. Takes me almost a full day to sketch and ink an entire page out since every page is heavily detailed. Need to draw a few more illustrations before I put this online, which hopefully will be this weekend... So much work, so little time.

Yes. I know comic artists are supposed to use a bigger page with a few inches for the border and panels, but if I worked on a bigger page, it would take me longer to get each page done. No to mention more money on getting the paper and portfolios and also a bigger scanner too.
Actually,
kensingshow uses a smaller page size as well. I would too (Probably would draw faster) but I need a little more size to do detail work I like to add. Though thinking of scaling down may not be a bad idea.
