Yup, the only things I didn't do myself where the black holder and the keys. I made those rings with 16 gauge GI wire.

Hand-cut, on the full view if you look closely you'll see the cuts aren't perfect. And someone told me that a cutting disc for dremel dies after 100 rings so it's quite expensive to use one for that.

The worst thing that happened was when I was drilling holes on my mixed gauntlet (it's buried there in my gallery XD) so I could place the rivets, and the drillbit broke and the shrapnel buried itself on my leg.

I' ve only molten drills on 3mm Inox spaulders xD ... before we got to put those spikes in there... geeze... we destroyed like a box of those 6mm drills lol

And we tested the harnesses out ourselves... put them on, slammed a sword or axe into it and checked if we needed more padding or more support...
I got shot by an arrow once, which is why we wisely switched to targets for arrows after that xD only 6-4 king's pattern chainmaille is good for stopping arrows decently xP

Actually a 4-1 pattern with 9mm rings can stop arrows if the rings are plain and riveted.

We used galvanized steel wire, hand cut, no rivets ... so yeah :/

As I do XD I don't own a forge, or else I would be doing riveted mail ^^ (on the bad side, since it's made if iron wire it rusts easily and weights a lot more)

Yes, that's what I meant, but for making riveted rings you have to use iron rings instead of galvanized iron ones, since you have to put them red hot and make them plain by hammering them.

I dunno, I'm not having a lot of troubles, I just hammer hard the sheets of steel. I started and almost finished the gauntlets, but I didn't found some issues with the articulation until it was too late (all the pieces together) so I'm back on the design stage.

I envy that, I need to make new patters, cut new pieces (with a set of sissors for metal, if you have a strong hands it makes wonders) and shape them with my hammer.
