Why does my urge to experiment & cook something new happen when I'm suppose to be doing something else...like sleeping? Anyhoo, homemade donut holes. They aren't burnt, it looks darker than golden brown because of the cinnamon sugar coating
I'll save the oil to try my hand at it again tomorrow.

Damned tasty, those things look :D
I made little mini-doughnuts a few months ago, not much bigger than doughnut holes, and they were delicious. The only thing I could possibly complain about is the yield of the recipe. Nowhere near enough doughnuts to satisfy my appetite!!!
(I'm secretly super fat on the inside despite sitting at about 63kg)

They look a lot like an oliebol. A Dutch food that's actually the ancestor of the Donut. Though, try taking them out of the oil a little earlier, they should go a light golden-brown. Here's the English Wikipedia page on the Oliebol: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliebol
