This is what I'm currently working on for a good client of mine. This is Rengar for League of Legends. I will post more technical details when it's all finished in a week or so. It's a partial so there will also be hands, feet, and a tail.

Thanks muchly! It's a resin base that I made (though god knows why since when the hell am I ever going to use this mold again), and the vision is out the mouth, which was a first for me. I was originally going to carve it out of foam, but I figured it would be much easier to get the definition in the folds with resin. Also there's a fan and LED eyes, as well as the heavy braids on the back, so the resin skull helps hold all of that nicely too. I just gave way more info than asked for, didn't I?
Sorry for the watch without commenting, btw. Your bird heads are gorgeous.

You definitely went above and beyond, but that's ok! It's neat to hear about other people's processes and I wanted to compliment how well this one worked out for you. LOVE the braids and details added to it, and it's definitely unique in the vision department. Should be nice smooth sailing for the suiter! :D
ps- people watch without commenting ALL the time, but it's nice to have your direct compliments too. <3 <3

I have the finished head up now too, if you want to check it out :)
I'm actually really impressed with how well the vision worked out, and so was my customer. It's way bigger field of vision than tearduct gives you, and it was shadowed enough back in the mouth that I didn't even need to put a see-through fabric in there, so it's totally unobstructed. Plus it means I didn't have to deal with a moving jaw for once ;)
