Rocko's Modern Life and Ren and Stimpy are shows that we probably will never see the likes of again. Not just looking back through rose colored glasses. Well animated cartoons with humor for all ages and a bit of vulgarity that makes modern day soccer mom's protest.

I heard the guy that made Rocko's Modern Life died shortly after getting Camp Lazlo started, which is why Camp Lazlo falls so short. That's what my friend told me anyways. I don't see why she would lie about it, but I certainly could have been miss-informed.

I really like the character designs for camp Lazlo, but they're integrity is ruined. They never stay true to their character traits and quickly waffle to whatever position is required of them. Nice pictures though.

Yup, that's Joe Murray.
The character designs are similar and the original Rocko cast all play roles in Lazlo, but there's just a certain charm or an air of creativity that Rocko had that Lazlo is missing.

Doug Lawrence has the best damn voices, ever. I'm so glad they're using him more in Lazlo.

No, I dont think Adler is in Lazlo at all.
But yeah, I love Doug Lawrence. His Edward the Platypus is the only thing I really dig about Lazlo. Also Tom Kenny does his awesome nebbish voice as Slinkman.
