It's Smaller, It's Better, and Easier to Lose and Break!
You know those moments. You put something down for a moment, or you did awhile ago and KNOW you put it there, and then the next, it's not. Seriously, it can frustrate ANYBODY.
It could be a piece of hardware, a screw, or even that sandwich you were eating, things just LOVE disappearing on you to the point you think these things developed sentience and warp capabilities to be in a place they weren't suppose to be.
But not just that...I've noticed that some companies aim to make things smaller, lighter, and more efficient. That's good and all, but sometimes it gets ridiculous. Why does everything have to be so small?? Ok sure, we've got high tec here on the ship with small components, but it's still a hassle when they somehow sprout legs and march off leaving me going "Where the heck is that thing?!"
Maybe I'm thinking too much on it, but it's really just that frustration when you lose those little things (which, for the most part, can be really expensive things). And sometimes their fragile enough that in your search you find out you broke the dang thing.
How about this...every little gadget that you can lose easily or breaks at the slightest pressure of a thumb (er, claw) comes with a diamond-esque box that you can't even crack with a hammer. That way your little comes-to-life-when-your-not-looking gadget doesn't move around and you can't lose it or accidentally break it.
Of course, is nice when you DO find the thing intact and all, or realize it was a mistake on your part (granted, with how hectic MY life can be...my mind's a jumble 90% of the time), you feel silly for getting angry in the first place.
But woe be to the person(s) who want to bug you when your endeavoring the tireless search for the most ancient of loseable items, and foes...the remote.

WHILE IT IS TRUE, ONE MUST TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE BRITTLE DESIGN OF THE CHIP...AND THE WEIGHT OF THE MAG WEARER...
Yeah...technically it wouldn't have...but I was TIRED searching for the blasted thing...so I took a load off, NOT literally mind you, and the twisting on the bed didn't help any better. If I was just sitting down normally, wouldn't have been any trouble
