As materialistic as Xu is; she definitely dates Roger and hangs out with lower class Chris and his friends as a sign of rebellion against her family values. Mild mannered and a voice of reason; yes. But she definitely has the "I want out of my rut" mentality. Her friends definitely free her from the more reserved part of life.
Xu is a fun character to make in terms of uniqueness. The issue of separating her pigtails from her ear isn't easy; but I'm glad I keep them in. She's just not the same without them.
And yes; as hot as that jacket looks to wear in So Cal; she totally likes it. ;D

She really wants to carve a life of her own, and if that means with Roger, then so be it.

Those pigtails are hard to draw, and even harder to color with the black and the ears. But she's just not Xu without them. XD
