My sister got a couple of those as pets years ago, a family my mom knew had to give them up. They were so annoying, just mope around in their home but go nuts and squeeeeeal whenever you got near them.

My guinea pig, Archie, is similar, though he spazzes out at random intervals and tears ass around his cage, diving into his little house-thing for no apparent reason. He squeals when you get near because he thinks he's gonna get a treat of some sort. He's fat and lazy, but he don't bother me.

Dog takes stupidity to Brillant levels.

Honestly, I know he comes from inside my head and his dialog is entirely of my imagining, but dog just gets under my skin. He really pisses me off by being stupid enough for me to hate and sweet enough for me to really like. As a comic strip artist, you develop odd relationships with your characters and my relationship with Dog and Kitty are complex and bizarre. With Dog, it's more love/hate. With Kitty, it's definitely, hate/love.

I can understand that. Dog is the simple idiot you really wanna smack upside the head.. and bitch slap anyone else who hurts him.
