Art does not have to make you feel good. Like movies, they are for emotional responces.

just mentioning. the body world exhibition have actual people who once lived. People donate their body and then get plastinated and put on display. although very few gets accepted as you have to have the right body type. This was clear info on the site

People are always mistaking needle felted dolls and expertly made plushies as real animals and/or taxidermy all the time. It's something that artists have to deal with. That being said, only very expensive faux fur could pass as the real deal in person, so people seeing these cat purses in real life probably could discern them from bags that would have been made with real fur.
Finally, art can be completely subjective and materials used in different pieces are both infinite and endless. Taxidermy, when done well, can preserve the likeness of an individual animal for many years, and it takes expert skill to make one look lifelike. Though you and I may both agree that using the pelts of a once living creature is morally wrong, that does not mean that it can't be art, or that it shouldn't be considered art. After all, art doesn't have to invoke positive feelings to be legitimate.

People are always mistaking needle felted dolls and expertly made plushies as real animals and/or taxidermy all the time. It's something that artists have to deal with. That being said, only very expensive faux fur could pass as the real deal in person, so people seeing these cat purses in real life probably could discern them from bags that would have been made with real fur.
Finally, art can be completely subjective and materials used in different pieces are both infinite and endless.
