Balance!
Straight-backed, good posture is key to graceful movement in anthro anatomy! Feet may turn out slightly, putting minimal pressure on ankles as they walk.
A character that slouches would have naturally forward-pointing toes. With slouching characters, they're slightly off balance, and their tail is key. Their tail will even them out, would naturally keep them upright. They also may stand with a leg forward, either of them, for a little added stature.
Some characters, as a few of my own, are... well, a bit freaky. Coo coo, off balance and creepy. A character that REALLY slouches needs a good tail to keep himself balanced, as well as arms outright a lot of the time. Arms out a little, toes pointed forward or even outward, tail helping balance. All make for easy movement!
Characters with weak ankles, such as deer or even some overly thin-boned dogs (like maybe a whippet or a chihuahua), may have feet turning inwards, arms angled. Tail is nearly irrelevent in this case unless they're slouching too, and I've already explained that up there!
Running characters with digigrade legs may 'spring' when they run, due to the extra leverage. Slouching characters may be clumsy unless they've got a longer tail to help guide them. Especially prehensile tails- they're very helpful with that situation.
If there's more that needs to be explained, just ask!
