Heh i'll definitely check the rest of your work because this performance must mean there is good tracks amongst your gallery. :3 I myself am from the south of usa and noticed the song title and the thumbnail and thought "It's been awhile since i've heard some delta blues, let's give this a listen" turns out i made a good choice hahaha Thanks again man. Earned a watcher.
I'm sure i will find some excellent tunes Hehe well i can personally tell you, from living here all my life, the history is definitely rooted deep and still to this day both debated and discriminated. To me,i see the bad times of back then as just that, the past so i'm looking forward and working on my own music. I'm more of a Rock/Metal kind of player but i do enjoy my heritage.
The blues is rooted in misery and reflect it perfectly. It's just sad that colored folks have all but abandoned their music for the more profitable rap. And I like Hip Hop. Ironically it's the white man that keeps the soul alive these days.. even jazz in most of its incarnations is being dominated by us. I wish I was alive when the American Folk Blues Festival was on the roll so I could see all my heroes together in one place live. The DVD's will have to do..
I'm thinking about making a roadtrip through the south and experience the culture I cherish so much. Especially excited about visiting New Orleans, even though it's not really the same as 50 years ago. N'awleans Jazz and Cajun cooking is another passion of mine. :3

It sounds really nice, got a really sweet tone for this kind of stuff from it definitely. Haha makes me want to try and find my glass slide and have a bash at this sort of stuff again XD I doubt I could ever play anything like this though, classical is more my strength on acoustic.
It fills its roll adequately for now! Can't wait 'til I get a Dobro, though.. then I will be complete xD
I have both ceramic and glass slides, but you just can't beat the hard sound of a steel slide like the one I'm using here! ;3
Oh, man.. I could never play classical.. that's just too crazy for me..!

Haha nice XD I want to get a Martin 15 series at some point, but acoustic guitars are fairly low on my "to buy list" as I don't the two that I have very often at all. More of an electric player (specifically metal haha) but I like to dabble and I love the sound of acoustic guitars behind/over very distorted guitars.
I want to play flamenco fluently, it's pretty tough to do.

Bit on the expensive side the ones I want XD I have spent well over £2000 on individual electric guitars, but I would be reluctant to part with anything over £500 for an acoustic haha, simple reason being that I wouldn't use it enough to warrant the money. If I was super rich with money to spare I would perhaps XD
I have kind of got the technique (probably a bit ambitious saying this really), but accuracy is ridiculously tricky.

Lots of saving and yes, very, very expensive hobby. I use favour Caparison nowadays, doubt I could be convinced to go with any other make now, love their guitars. :D
Indeed, not overly bothered about sitting down to nail it though, I just dabble very occasionally, no intention of ever using flamenco haha

I have an Ibanez as well but not hugely keen on them personally. But each to their own haha, different guitars fit different style players.
It is very much a showey thing outside of Mexico/spain etc. I do know someone who plays flamenco very well but of all the guitarists I've met he's the only one who can and he doesn't play any electric or anything.
