So I did a little leg review for all those out there who don't quite understand/know how digigrade legs work!
In short, Anthro legs would be like... a humanized version of the dog leg! Instead of all that compact muscle, the muscles would be thinner, longer. It'd give a longer leg, a longer stride, and more balance for the human animal to stay upright. Most animals (and I'm only doing the basics right now, this doesn't include things like kangaroos or bears who use their whole foot) walk on the balls of their feet. So stand on your tippy toes- and there you go. That's what it would be like. Except it'd be less uncomfortable, because our feet aren't exactly meant for long duration of walking that way!
I've had a lot of problem in the past with seeing an 'extra angle' in the leg, that it didn't look right and it had too many points and bends. This isn't true at all! Dogs walk on their toes, and as so, their whole foot beyond the ankle is extended for extra support. Starting from the hips, it bends at the knee, ankle, and toe. As I said, it'd be as if you're walking on the balls of your feet. If you've any questions, feel free to ask!
