As you may have guessed - I'm in deep shit. I have less than 10 hours to write a lengthy research paper.
Clocks intimidate me.
I don't get it... I wasn't used to extreme procrastinating. =/

45. Wow.
I'm ... still a bit confused as to why this project was consrtucted. It has something to do with a fursona, but that's all I could gather.
Don't bother explaining it. *laughs* An imbecile like me just can't comprehend something an intricate as this. All the more reason for me to admire you, I guess.

I'll have to go edit that description.
It started as a daily fursona design thing. But at first I was sligtly misguided by what a fursona actually was... I'm not doing fursonas here, so it seems. These designs wouldn't work as fursonas... They're more like disposable one-off anthropomorphic animal symbols.
It's basically a daily zoomorphic/anthropomorphic self-portrait project. Simply put - I just do a picture every day, based on what/how I feel like that day.
Why it was constructed?
1. I want to challenge myself.
2. it's an introspective tool.
3. I like drawing anthropomorphic animals.

I'd be the worlds best procrastinator, but I keep putting it off...
I like this picture, but.. I don't understand the lighting on/in/from the face. It's visually confusing to me, I THINK it's visually confusing because there does not seem to be a .. uhm.. DIRECTION to the light.. I can see some shadows from teh body, so that visually cues me, but the dark blotch in front of the face on teh clock and the lack of MUCH more brightness on the clock face right by the face , I think, is what's throwing me.

Thelight coming from teh head looks COOL! I do like the concept a great deal, but if you had gotten rid of that dark area directly in front of your face there, then I think it owuld have worked a lot better.. it would make it LOOK like the glow was coming from the face.. if.. that's what your intent was, that is. :)
I'm too used to extreme procrastinating. too much....
Sounds so familiar :/
But if this picture is the result of the stressful lack of time then perhaps it's not a really bad thing because it's really strong and beautiful.
The lighting works very well in your pics no matter where the light comes from, even if some people can say it's not realistic. It works so well...

Ahahaha, i am going to FAVOURITE this because of one reason... It is Saturday morning and i have a 10 page essay due on monday, and i haven't even started yet!!!11 You can be my procrastination buddy. =D
It's for art history, and i've done a 4 page essay in a day before (i got 100%, no compromising quality here!), i'll have to spend both today and tomorrow living amongst the books, asa book worm, in the University library, which is a tower 12 stories high, and with it's own floor devoted to the arts.
You can dooo it!

Well, this one was pretty straightforward. The background is a mix of these:
1. oil pastel on 2 or 3 different papers made by spilling and splattering ink.
2. a pattern pen with a pattern made from drops of ink on paper (two pens actually: one opague and one buildup/gel/multiply)
3. loaded pallete knife with feature set around 1.7
4. 1, 2 & 3 also on an overlay layer above.

I know that feeling. >_> What's really terrible is when you're desperately trying to break out of it, end up producing something substandard, and fall right back into it feeling worse. I love the physical intensity of his pose, and how is head is almost exploding with the strain; makes the clock hands seem unstoppable.
