This is a project from a "Drawing for Animators" class I took last year in college. The requirements were to draw a scene which tells a story; and include all the elements of staging (Breaking the Picture Plane, Rule of Thirds, The Billiard Ball, Repeating Shapes, Pathways, Scale and XYZ Dimensions) involving 8 or more characters (none of which can share the same gridspace)
The assignment involved two depictions of the same scene - an upshot and a downshot.
So here I have "The Egg Race" - a picnic game with a surprise twist; looks like somebody switched those eggs!
