Here we have the second-in-command of my fanmade Yokaiger. Uchiki is a mujina, a badger yokai trapped in human form in order to save the world. There aren't that many mentions of Mujina having abilities over wood, but I wanted to split the five elements of Onmyodo (fire, water, wood, gold, and earth) amongst the primary cast.
In the personality department, Uchiki seems quite gruff but has a heart of gold. The source of Uchiki's name is the Japanese phrase, Uchiki (na), meaning bashful, reflecting both Uchiki's personality and the stereotypical nature of the Mujina.
