These characters are my entry in 'Brony-hood'. I plan to do some stories about them eventually. But for now, here is a quick preview of Ponyville's newest residents.

Blazing Honor, or Blaze, is the group's central character. He was originally a member of the Canterlot's Royal Guard. But after he was badly injured saving the life of one of the city's residents, he was given a healing potion, the Panacea Elysium, by one of the students of magic. He was restored to full health, but with some unforeseen affects. Feeling that the potion had made him a freak in Canterlot, he went on a journey across Equestria to find a place he could fit in, eventually finding himself becoming the guardian of Twilight Sparkle's library while she and Spike are away on a Royal PR tour of Equestria. Basically he is a honorable and law-abiding pony, who will always put others needs before his own. His CM is the flame crested shield.

Renaissance is Blaze's adopted daughter. She is skilled in several forms and mediums of visual art. Since she doesn't know when inspiration will strike, she is rarely seen not wearing her full-body smock. She quickly befriends, and becomes the newest member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, while hiding the fact that she has had hers' for sometime. Her CM is the crossed pencil and paintbrush.

Foxglove is a unicorn who specializes in healing magic. She is Blaze's assistant in his quest to find his new place in the world and possibly undo the unwanted affects of the Panacea Elysium. Her magical skills are not exactly top-notch, she always finds a way to accomplish her goal. Her CM is her namesake medicinal flower, Foxglove.

Knockoff is a hybrid of a changling father and an earth pony mother. Like Queen Chrysalis and her minions, he can change his form at will, but his abilities come with a few...caveats. 1) he can only hold his altered form while he is awake. 2) When stressed, he can lose control, or revert completely. 3) His pony half makes is seemingly impossible to change his CM. After the events of the 'Canterlot Wedding', his mother felt that staying in the city would have been risky. She asked Blaze take Knockoff along in hopes that he too could find a safe place in Equestria. Since she is the only of the Mane Six he feels he can trust with his secret, he develops a relationship with Fluttershy. His CM is a mix of the mathematical symbols for 'equivalent to' and 'does not equal'.

SkyeDive is a born daredevil. Where Rainbow Dash is an athlete, Skye Dive is a pure adrenaline junky. She has little concern for her, or anyone else's safety when she is trying out her latest stunt. She comes to Ponyville to use it and the Everfree Forest as her newest stunt course as well as study RD to learn how to do the ever elusive 'Sonic Rainboom'. Her CM is a pair of angel wings.

Blue Print is Skye Dive's inventor friend, designing and building many gadgets to both make the stunts more extreme and safer at the same time. No...she is not an alicorn, but a unicorn with a set of home built wings she uses to keep up with Skye.
