Wow...that's a very neat take on the usually cartoony characters. Koopa looks very raw...and Mario just looks, well...pathetic by comparison. *giggles* I do love all the plumber equipment though, especially the giant wrench. That's one thing that makes him look like a badass with a chance.

Thanks, Bowser's head came out pretty darn well, considering I totally had to rely on my memory to get details right. Hope I actually got all the salient points. =P I was gonna give Mario a hammer, since that seems to be the standard, but I couldn't think of any reason a plumber would need a giant wooden mallet. And a huge wrench seemed more likely then a sledge hammer, so...

Hahha marios got quite a nice little build on him there. Makes him look kinda like one of those 'power to the little guy' sitated fellows where he kicks some royal ass XD

Yeah, he's pretty ripped, there. And Bowser's so big that he's gonna be slow, so Mario's got a good chance. Even a critter that big can't move around much with broken knee-caps, after all. =P

I miss Bowser's glory days. He's no longer a true villain...nowadays, he's more like a friendly rival of Mario.

An odd thought: Is Bowser like, a mutated koopa? Or are we talking something akin to Warhammer/W40K orks, where the older a koopa gets, the bigger and nastier they become? Food for thought...

I'd say you did a really good job on modeling both Koopa and Mario in a more 'realistic' format, being a longtime SMB fan myself. :) The wrench is a nice touch too!
