African Grays are amazing ^w^ Just be sure to do lots and lots of research before you get one if you do! :3 I've been researching and volunteering with birds for a little over 2 years and still turned down a free African Gray from some good breeders simply because they are a lot more work than people think(plus they develop behavioral issues and can stress out a lot easier than other species and with me unsure of future plans it would be fair to the bird if I didn't get it lol). Yeah I've been Researching them like Crazy and I know I'm nowhere near ready to get one yet~. I've been considering starting off with a smaller bird or one thats not quiet as demanding so I can kind of work my way up to it. I'd be worried to go on vacation or be away for too long.

If you want help figuring out what bird would be best for your situation just note me^w^ I love helping people with birds XD And yeah, when I go to my mate's house(4+ hours away) I bring my birds with me. If you can find a good breeder or find a trustworthy bird person in your area that can board/birdsit for you that would work :3
