We are just chugging along here. I had two very different idea on how I wanted to open up. At first I was going to have Angelica be getting out of bed and have her do an internal monologue that recaps the last month of her life but I didn't like how inorganic that was. So I figured I'd try to use a framing device. So here she is talking with a therapist/social worker.
Sorry for the wall 'o text...I'm trying hard to make these panels not be to wordy but at the same time move fast enough to keep people interested...x.x
P.S Nero has an Alias and for a decent while he is known by a different name.

They both are a complex pair. In many ways angelica is the quiet and reserved one, but during the process of mourning Angelica 'seems' to be the stronger one. The next probably dozen or so panels will be introducing them and more or less establishing them as characters as well as how they interact and deal with their new situation.
I like Nero and all, but Angelica I think is my new favorite. I like the very gothic design....but I think it's her hair that's got me sold. I was also being a bit mean, I was checking out the bookcase in the background to see if the layout of the books was going to change, but they didn't, nice consistency!
Also, 'Grizzly-Bear and the Hulk?'

Angelica is pretty cool, though Bridget is quite the character too. Both of the girls are pretty witty and resilient. I just hope I can pull them off as I have envisioned them. And yes..Grizzly bear and the hulk. Nero's bigness will be a running joke...as will several other things. Also the books didn't change because I'm very lazy and just reused the already terribly drawn lines..x.x..I'm horrible with backgrounds but I'm refusing to let this comic go without them completely. And Nero may be called daddy by someone...eventually..I dunno..we'll find out XD
