Ok that's it. My steam with over 180 games was stolen.
Some freak hacked both my steam and my email, changed all the passwords and moved my steam account to another email. Then he sold my account for 10$ to one kid that *probably* doesn't even know it was stolen. But i'm pretty sure he knows. And looks like he doesn't want to give it back after
hidara's friend told him that the acc was stolen.
I've already sent a ticket report to steam support but that'll take some days for them to check and also i'm not sure they'll give it back to me because I don't have any CD keys saved anywhere only my payment info so I gave them as much as i know about my account.
So if any of you guys could help me to get it back by noticing friends who work at steam or anything just give me a note... I'll reward a person that helps me to get it back with a free art from me.
PS: that freak even deleted my beloved
hidara from my friend list, that pisses me off twice

He probably made it quick because the site where he sold it doesn't allow to sell hacked accounts... So the kid that bought it had no time to change anything he was scared when people told him it was stolen but he doesn't want to give it back anyway 'cos he paid 10$ for it and got loads of games =\

I don't know how much identity your local ID card does, but you can scan that. If necessary blank out the sensitive bits (they should already have your name and address anyway) to use that as further proof.
Really, most people feel reluctant to send that over- but as long as it's verified to be an actual Steam support employee they should already have most of that anyhow.

Af far as I know, Steam is rather ok when it comes to retrieving stolen or otherwise hacked/corrupted profiles. When there was a huge fraud with people who bought the game War-Z not getting the promised game contents, Steam gave back the refunds. It would be rather easy to prove all the gaves you've bought in the past, as it's all digital-purchase, and Steam crew can surely check that the profile was somehow manipulated/hacked. Anyway, hope it all goes well for you.
If you look on the bright side of this, you might even get some games for free when Steam starts working on your case. That's what happened when private bank accounts numbers and debt card numbers got leaked via PS3 network; Sony offered 2 games for free. You'll surely get some compensation.
Might take awhile, but you'll definitely get it back. Valve seems to care about the customer experience or at least give enough lip service to it.
And don't believe for a moment that a guy who bought an account with 180 games for $10 didn't know it was stolen. He's playing dumb.

Hope it all works out for you. I've had a couple of of MMO accounts hacked back in the day so I know how much shit it feels like your eating. You'll probably get it back though, having all that payment info as proof is a lot more substantial than verifying old passwords or an e-mail address.

I browsed over the Steam forums and they suggested this as the best thing you can do. If no CD keys, then payment information is the best (probably only) way to go.

dam that sucks, but knowing valve's reputation im sure that your debit/credit card information will be more than enough to fix it, plus any emails that show you purchased/recieved the games as gifts as well as any other steam based emails you received, makes me kinda feel i should come up with a more complicated password than the complicated one i already have, hope you get your steam back! i certainly know i would be pissed if mine got hacked
