Interesting... I don't see anything wrong with the style for sure. Seems great!
However, the slanted framing of the top left/left almost seems to imply these two frames occur at once, yet there's clearly a frame in the top right suggesting otherwise. Maybe you could extend the bottom right frame and remove the top right (which is redundent information anyway)? Or alternatively you could edit the frames on the left so that they don't imply that they act together? Or perhaps the two left frames do act together and the topright frame is meant to represent the guy before he moves out of the way? In which case, the framing might work better when you add more detail.
The overall point being that the comic is awesome! It's just the framing is slightly confusing; I'm not sure if I should be reading the left together, then the top right, then the bottom right, or if I should be reading it traditionally (the top frames, middle frames, then bottome frames). Of course, I could just be a minority in thinking this, or it could just be this specific shot... so keep that in mind.
The only other thing that comes to mind is movement. Usually comics have something to identify movement. You've done a great start so far, but perhaps more lines/movement in his clothing/etc to identify the cool guy moved out of the way would be nice.
Overall, though, I'm sure you'll do great in this medium! You're already greatly succeeding in the rest.
