I may beg to differ, morbyganawhofa, because the 'inflation scene' in Chuck Jones' "Fastest With The Mostest" (1959) was the best example of illustrating a ballooned character - complete with the enveloped head and limbs. Your rendering of 'Wile E. Coyote' in inflated form comes in a distant second...
