father has been in a abusive relationship for a while, stays with his wife for the shake of the child.
The Husband can tell when his wife is gonna get violent and send the kid in the other room for safety. The fight gets out of hand, The mother hurts the dad really bad. The kid is in the doorway watching. 'don hurt dada!' he mutters tears spilling down his cheeks. The mother continues to act out in blind rage, unaware of what she is doing. finally the little one gets a bolt of courage and darts out to protect his father!! ' dont hurt dada!!' he screams snapping his mother back to reality...unfortunately it may have already been too late.

"He'd always been told he had to be brave. The little one loved to joke around as he takes mommy's paw, saying how he's the man and won't let anything happen. The pup would check under her bed, look in Mommy's closets, even give her his own nightlight to protect away from the monsters. Little did the poor pup know, the worst monsters aren't the ones under the bed, and it takes more than a nightlight to scare them away."
