We're crediting this one to Teo, but I did help out a bit to make sure the outline of the butterfly was a bit more crisp than he's really capable of. We looked at tons of pictures of Glasswing butterflies - that's what it's based on, only instead of clear 'windows' in the wings, it's colored collages. (Magazine bits, again.) Why does it only have four legs? Because most of the pictures we saw only show four... I have no idea what's up with that, because we didn't exactly research the species, just look at photo references. But I might have to look it up now, because that's kind of weird for an insect. Anyway, image-in-head to image-on-paper translation worked pretty well this time, which is always nice.
