"Sprinting for his life, a feline tactfully crossed over large rocks and other natural debris, careful of anything that might trip him. Any small delay would mean his death. The leaves rustled heavily underfoot as the panicked house cat zig-zagged through trees and sharp brush. His clothes rattled erratically as he tore through the opposing wind current, and his once light satchel bounced about, seemingly hanging onto life with only a mere, leather strap. The brutal sun seemed to melt the cat, for he spilled beads and beads of sweat underneath the sun’s intense rays. Each step the cat took dropped some of those beads into the arid land, which, in turn, accepted the droplets without hesitation and left behind no trace of moisture ever being there. The other beads of sweat would bounce off his rusted dogtag, which had a series of crude scratches that seemed to read: “Sprigg.” The feline was extremely exhausted. Its entire body was drained of energy and was running on pure adrenaline. Every breath that Sprigg took was a gasp for air. A grab at life."
