Well, you could always bring up the fact it's financially smarter to know how to fix things on your own, So you would be saving money in the long run. That, and people tend to be more careful of things they have worked on themselves.

i already fix my own car... so it wouldn't be a diff... he hates the fact i know more about cars then he does... and i was half way to fixing the body got the doors on so they wouldn't fall of and had a wire frame made for the front... but he went and cut all that off and took the doors and stuck them back in the car... *shakes hood*... it's still rotting where he put it... i don't plan on touching it again... i'll save money and go get this studabacker truck i found the other day... or the old chevy parked next to it xD...

Restoration seems like it's worth it, but I'm pondering doing more custom work.. Like forcing a car to be something it's not.
